Having left to test the Caorle cycle paths, we have completely changed our programs. Personally, I had never been to the Venetian town and I noticed that, despite being very nice for a walk, I can’t recommend it if you want to ride it by bicycle. We stopped a couple of hours, we had a picnic on the beach and then we visited the center on foot. The alleys are narrow and well kept, the central area can also be traveled by bicycle but I do not recommend it highly given the number of tourists. In the afternoon we decided to visit Valle Vecchia which we found both on the internet and at the information office marked as a cycle zone and bike rental. Unfortunately never found because the sites do not explain well how to reach it or are not up to date, neither Google Maps nor the locals managed to help us. Below you will find the directions to reach a quiet and relaxing place found by chance and where you can use the bikes at will. Set the navigator on Valle Vecchia and following the indications you will reach Bacino Villa. At the restaurant “Da Nino”, you will find it on your left, you can rent bicycles without a child seat. Opposite immediately begins a cycle path that winds through the fields, I recommend walking it in the late afternoon because there are no trees. On the other hand if from the restaurant you continue by bike along the cycle path for 10 kilometers you will find the MAZARACK restaurant before the flyover. They have ample parking if you want to start the tour from this point, the place is very relaxing with hammocks and a small fenced playground with swings. Ideal for an aperitif while admiring the river while you can ride the grassy banks.
