If you prefer tranquility you can easily pedal to the nature reserves of the Cavanata and Cona Valleys, all on a cycle path. If you prefer not to move, enjoy a splendid ride along the beach with a playground and aperitif stop enjoying a well-deserved relaxation.

WHAT TO DO WITH THE CHILDREN BEYOND THE BIKE

Grado is famous for its beach, perfect for families as the water is never too high and always calm. Children can have fun along the bathroom dryers without any problem. The beach is sandy and you will find all the amenities, a part of the beach is free but a very large part is free. Since 1989 it can boast the Blue Fee Flag to guarantee the purity of the water and the high quality of the services. Near the paid beach you will find the water park with a large garden with trees where you can relax, a swimming pool with sea water with slides, whirlpool, trampolines and swim-up bar. We highly recommend taking your children to the rose park where they can go wild on games suitable for all ages. The trip to Barbana, an island in the Grado lagoon, home to an ancient Marian sanctuary, is very interesting, you can opt for a picnic under the trees or a lunch at the pilgrim’s canteen. The ferry leaves every 20 minutes and the ticket costs 6 euros return.
